the offspring of their 2 yr old first cross meat maker heifers, then more as their herds become made up of MMM cross cows.
Weaner calves 2021 Calves born in 2020 had a great start with August being unseasonably mild; they were weaned on the back of another tough summer, the calves weaning weights were still very good with the cows taking up the slack.
Notable Commercial Sales
Patrick Cattle Company sold black MMM cross calves at the Masterton Weaner Fair in March 2021 and the received the second highest price for black steers on the day.
Akitio Station Nigel Bicknell sold his MMM sired yearling steers and Heifers at the Feilding Sale in August 2020 and received premiums of 25-30c/kg over other yearlings at the same weight – a great result.
Going Forward
A CATTLE FOR SALE advertisement option on the McFadzean cattle company website and facebook page. This has been suggested by purchasers and breeders.
We would state:

Name and address of the vendor and agent
We believe and certainly hope vendors will receive premiums for cattle sired by MMM bulls
2021 Bulls
It is very pleasing to see improvement from last year within the scanning results. Given that this season has been difficult for the bulls to produce the daily weight gains of previous years. This season's bulls are one hell of a line up.

When proceeds are credited or a purchase is debited to a PGW monthly credit account, then PGW’s Monthly Account Terms of Trade (as amended from time to time) apply to the extent deemed relevant by PGW.
