Following on from last year’s successful introduction of the Bidr on-line hybrid auction
system we will once again offer the livestream service. This will allow both customers and
spectators the opportunity to watch the sale in real time and bid through their smartphone,
tablet/laptop or PC. Last year saw five bulls sold to on-line bidders and, although that was
partly driven by lockdown conditions, proved to be an easy and practical way to purchase
stock. We still advise eyeballing the bulls prior to sale day but if distance is an issue, or other
reasons preclude you from attending in person, Bidr allows you to participate with complete

As usual all our sale bulls carry our guarantee of soundness. Should a fault develop, which is
not coverable by insurance, and which affects the bull’s ability to breed, we will refund to the
purchaser a proportion of the purchase price depending on the length of service the bull has
given. Namely, two-thirds of the purchase price after one year of service and one-third after
two years – to be available as a credit on a replacement bull.
Bulls will be delivered personally and free of charge to purchaser’s properties within Otago,
Southland and South Canterbury and to a convenient sale yards if going further afield.
