FOREWORD

On behalf of Pikoburn Angus, Waiau Herefords, Pourakino Herefords &
Wainuka South Devons we extend a very warm welcome to everybody.

We are excited to bring to you the 2021 line up of another outstanding group
of breeding bulls.

With all last years challenges its definitely exciting to be back on farm doing it again.
However that being said we learnt a lot last year, as we’re sure everyone did!

You won’t find a more passionate team of families that take the greatest pride
in bringing these animals to you from the deep south. We all farm & breed stud stock
in conjunction with our own individual commercial farming enterprises on a daily basis,
therefore these herds get put under a lot of pressure at times and are expected
to perform in any climate.

Collectively our most crucial breed objectives are all much the same, basic & simple.
Structure, confirmation, depth & thickness and Temperament. As stud breeders,
we all continue to source and use genetics that we think will thrive and survive
in any climate for you and for us. By doing the homework and performance recording
with these animals lineage for years, you can rest assured the hard work
has already been done.

We truly appreciate your support particularly in these forever changing
and uncertain times.

On that note we’ve still got our heads held high and hope you guys have too,
because without your support it’d be a lot harder for us to do what we love to do!
