damages. The guarantee shall apply providing the bull’s incapacity is not caused
by injury or disease contracted since leaving Hingaia and is calculated on the basis
that the guarantee is reduced by one third of the purchase for each year of standard
service from the sale date. A veterinary certificate must be supplied by the purchaser
on request.
We recommend that all purchasers discuss injury insurance of their bulls at the sale
with either Aon or FMG Insurance. This guarantee is in addition to the normal terms
and conditions governing auction sales.
Delivery
Hingaia will pay the delivery of bulls purchased within the north island and on 2 or
more bulls per purchaser to the South Island. On single bulls we will deliver to Blen-
heim. Delivery of bulls will commence from the first week after the sale. We are hap-
py to discuss delayed delivery on condition they are insured by the purchaser from
the fall of the hammer and the freight will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
Payment
Due date for payment is 14 days from the date of the sale. Hingaia are happy to offer
delayed payment options to approved purchasers provided this is discussed prior to
the sale.
Insurance
We strongly recommend transit and period insurance from the fall of the hammer.
This can be arranged on sale day. All bulls subject to delayed delivery or deferred pay-
ment will need to be insured. All insurance is the responsibility of the purchaser.
Personal health and safety
Please be aware there are many potential hazards on any farm and that you enter the
property at your own risk.

Under Health and Safety Regulations please make yourself aware of the following
hazards.
• Cattle Movements • Grandstand steps
• Work Vehicles • Bull Sale Area
• Cattle Yards, Slippery Surface • No Children in pens with bulls.
Caring for you bull
When your bull arrives home it is a good idea to have company for him, preferably a
steer or cow as he is used to being run in a mob. Hingaia bulls are not used to horses
but are used to being worked with motorbikes and dogs, they also respect electric
fences.
