GUARANTEE
All bulls offered for sale are guaranteed for three years from the date of sale for fertility and structural soundness.
The Guarantee:
1. Is limited to the sale price of the bull and does not include consequential loss or other losses or expenses;
2. Shall be for a maximum of three years reducing the amount by one third on each of the following three years on
the anniversary of the date of sale;
3. Be subject to the bull having been demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Vendor to have been provided with
proper care and attention and maintained in good health and condition, including all animal health;
4. Does not include injury or illness contracted after the date of sale.
In the event of a claim by a purchaser under the Guarantee:
1. The bull will be inspected by an independent registered veterinarian nominated by the vendor and at the vendor’s
expense;
2. Subject to confirmation by the veterinarian as to lack of fertility or structural soundness, the vendor shall refund the
purchase price ( less the length of time since date of sale, see point 2 above ) less the income from slaughter;
3. All semen taken from the bull shall be returned to the vendor;
4. Any dispute as to liability or the quantum of a claim shall be referred to an independent arbitrator to be agreed
between the parties but failing agreement to be appointed by the Vendor.
