                        CARING FOR YOUR NEW BULL.

Buying a bull, is an investment, to help improve the quality and profitability of your herd for many
      years to come.
To get the most from your new bull it pays to look after him well. When he arrives home, have a few
quiet steers or cows for him to run with. The bulls have just been taken out of their group. Even
normally quiet bulls can get agitated and may take a while to adjust. Talk to them quietly, handle
them quietly, no dogs, give them room to move as everything is new. Make sure he has a water
trough available as RUAVIEW bulls have had only trough water-NOT dam water. Feed a bit of hay for
a few days for the bull to get accustomed to you, your bike, and your dogs.
It is very advisable to continue with annual inoculation of the bulls initial vaccination programme.
This refers to 7 n 1, and BVD.
Feed your bull well. A worm drench 8 weeks prior to mating and immediately after mating can be
      very beneficial.
RUAVIEW bulls are used to being handled by motorbikes. All our fences are electric.
