FOREWORD
LOCHBURN SHORTHORN STUD
19th May 2021 IN CALF HEIFER SALE
Welcome to my stud.
Lochburn Stud was first registered in the mid 1970’s and I have being breeding
Shorthorns since this time. This has been primarily a commercial operation but always
using registered stud bulls.
For the last 20 years I have been only breeding from registered females.
This year I have made the decision to sell some of my rising two year old in calf
heifers. I have decided to put them into pens of two and the top bidder gets to pick
one and I will retain the other. The catalogue consists of eight pens and 16 lots.
All heifers have been DNA checked for Sire Verification.
All heifers were vetted in calf on 8 March 2021 and are due to calve between early
August to mid September 2021.
If you would like to inspect the heifers prior to sale please call myself or your local
agent to arrange a private inspection.
