CONDITIONS OF SALE
The Sale will be conducted under the conditions set down by the New Zealand Stock and Station
Agents Association, as posted at the sale. Every Lot shall be at the risk of the purchaser at the fall of
the hammer.
GUARANTEE
RUAVIEW bulls are guaranteed for 2 years from the date of the sale against structural soundness,
infertility or incapability of service. Under these circumstances, we will
-Replace the bull with a satisfactory substitute if available, or
-Issue a credit equal to the purchase price less the salvage value. This credit may be used at future
RUAVIEW bull sales, or we will refund your credit.
This guarantee covers the purchase value of the bull without interest, costs or damages. The
guarantee shall apply providing the bull’s incapacity is not caused by injury or disease contracted
since leaving the RUAVIEW property, that is calculated on the basis that the guarantee is reduced
by one third of the purchase price for each year of standard service from the sale date. A
veterinary certificate must be supplied by the purchaser upon request.
If any bull that is purchased does not possess a reasonable fertility, although not totally infertile,
any dispute that may arise shall be settled by an arbitrator appointed by the auctioneers and must
be lodged within 12 calendar months from date of sale.
HEALTH
RUAVIEW bulls are examined by a veterinarian prior to sale day. This examination includes
palpation of the sexual anatomy.
BVD-All bulls in this catalogue have been DNA tested, or blood tested negative for BVD and
vaccinated twice (20/03/21 and22/04/21). All bulls have also been given a 7 n 1 vaccination
(15/03/21), prior to sale which will cover you for the next 12 months. They should receive an
annual booster thereafter.
All RUAVIEW bulls are Group Breedplan recorded, carcass scanned for Eye muscle, Fat and IMF.
They are also 7 in 1 inoculated.
TB STATUS at RUAVIEW is C10. The sale bulls tested clear 15/04/2021

Every effort will be taken by the vendors, on the day of the sale as well as days of inspection, to
ensure the safety of buyers and visitors. However, this farm is run under normal management
conditions, therefore potential hazards exist with relation to livestock and the environment. Please
take care to ensure your personal safety.
