Introduction

Welcome to our 50th Annual Bull Sale of Woodbank Angus and Matariki
Herefords.

We both pride ourselves in the soundness of our cattle and consequent
longevity and this will always be a major focus for Matariki and Woodbank.

The Woodbank and Matariki program has always been based on producing the
kind of cattle that will produce bulls to keep our commercial customers in the
most competitive economic position possible. We have also embraced the use
of performance recording systems and technology that enhance our ability to
make the most educated decisions in genetic selection.

We are mindful of the direction the industry is going. We congratulate you, the
cattleman on your selection over the years. We are supplying more and more
information for you to absorb, but we still recommend you use your innate
stockman ship first.

This year we are presenting 64 Angus and 64 Herefords to our customers.
