Conditions of Sale

The sale will be conducted in accordance with conditions of sale as set down by the Marlborough
Stock & Station Agents Association. A copy of which will be exhibited at the sale.

CONDITIONS FOR BULL AUCTIONS CONDUCTED LIVE AT A SALEYARD/ON FARM
All intending purchasers must register at the PGG Wrightson Ltd Livestock (PGW)
sales office prior to the sale. The New Zealand Stock & Station Agent’s Association
Conditions of Sale apply. These terms can be inspected at the registration desk and on
the wall in the auction room. PGW’s Monthly Account Terms of Trade also apply to
the extent deemed relevant by PGW. The current versions of PGW’s Monthly Account
Terms of Trade are also available online at: www.pggwrightson.co.nz\Our-Company\
Terms-and-Conditions or in hardcopy on request.
INSPECTION
Inspection of sale cattle is invited prior to the sale by contacting the Auctioneers or the
Vendors. The sale Bulls will be penned in small paddocks from 10am on sale day.
INSURANCE
We recommend purchasers to insure their bulls on the day of the sale and make sure of
the FMG Premier bull cover at 6.5%.
PLEASE ADVISE US OF YOUR NAIT NUMBER AT THE SALE, AS WE WILL NEED THIS
WHEN TRANSFERRING ANY PURCHASES.
PURCHASING REBATE On behalf of the vendor, PGW will pay a purchasing rebate
of 6% of the purchase price excluding GST, plus GST, to livestock companies and
recognised independent livestock agents with a PGW Monthly Account who have
introduced buyers to PGW before the sale and/or accompanied buyers to the sale.
ARRANGEMENTS MUST BE MADE PRIOR TO THE SALE AND SETTLEMENT MADE ON
THE PURCHASER’S BEHALF WITHIN 14 DAYS.
Morning tea and a light lunch will be available on the grounds. Accommodation is
available in Kaikoura and we recommend the White Morph Motor In 03 319 5014, or
the Lobster Inn Motor Lodge 0800 562 783.

The sale is conducted exclusive of G.S.T.

Every effort will be taken by the vendors, auctioneers, their staff and assistants,
both on the day of the sale as well as on any other visits of inspection to ensure the
safety of intending buyers and visitors. We wish however, to advise that while this
sale is run under normal management conditions, certain dangers exist in relation to
livestock and their environment. Visitors should take care to ensure their personal
safety. No children 15 years and under are permitted in the bull viewing pens.
