We are delighted to present you with 12
spectacular R2 Limousin sires. This year we are
fortunate to be back on the hilly commercial
property of Limax Enterprises at the base of the
Kaimai ranges.
Our proven selection and management process
has once again been maintained so we can
present a range of experienced breeders’ bulls
that have been run together for 9 months under commercial conditions and
tested monthly for growth, conformation, structure and docility. That way
you can be confident that genetics are tested, not the farming method.

The 2021 draft includes bulls from as far south as Outram (Glencairn Stud) as
well as regulars Mangatara, Grayleen, Springfalls, Kivlean and Huntlands. Two
of these studs will not be presenting bulls in future due to farmer retirement
so make sure you get in while these genetics are available.
Every year, we are proud of the docility of the bulls we present, but this year
they are truly superb. We had trouble getting them to stand up from their
morning sleep to video them! They also demonstrate the unbeaten Limousin
growth rates with thickness and length and conformation to handle NZ
commercial conditions. The muscling on these bulls yet again shows the
unrivalled benefit of the exclusive F94L double muscling gene.
The Limousin breed offers the complete package. The exclusive F94L gene
delivers double muscling and exceptional yield combined with easy calving.
New Zealand breeders have successfully developed a structural type to suit
local commercial conditions. Along with excellent feed efficiency and
hardiness, these bulls demonstrate the outstanding Limousin growth and
