• Under the Occupational Health and Safety Act
1992, we are required to inform people of any
potential hazards:
• Cattle can occasionally be unpredictable,
particularly if stressed, mobbed up, or in
a new environment.
• Please exercise all reasonable care and
attention, when viewing bulls.
Conditions of sale
1. Sterile Bulls: The entry of bulls in this sale carried
with it an understanding by the vendor that the
purchase price (without interest, costs, or damages)
will be refunded should the bull prove totally infertile.
If a bull so entered should not possess a reasonable
fertility, although not totally infertile, any dispute shall
be settled by an arbitrator. Any complaint must be
lodged with the vendors within 12 (twelve) calendar
months of the date of sale. The cost of taking delivery
and returning a bull to the vendor shall be borne
by the purchaser. A veterinary surgeon’s certificate
shall be procured by the purchaser when required.
The undertaking is limited to the individual value of a
bull as a breeder, and does not extend to the loss of
profit or otherwise sustained in the event of infertility
or non-capacity being proved, the undertaking shall
bind the executors or administrators of the vendor.
2. All bulls in this sale carry a guarantee for soundness
of feet until five years old. In the event of a structural
fault developing in the foot of a bull prior to the
expiry of this guarantee, then the Vendors will
repossess the bull and will credit to the purchaser
at a subsequent sale a proportion of the purchase
price depending on the length of service the bull has
